I had a busy weekend - gardening, cleaning and a quick shopping trip to buy birthday presents. Nothing too exciting!

Shoal Bay Trip

As mentioned in the previous post, last weekend I went on a girls trip away to Shoal Bay, about a two hour drive north of Sydney. Wow, this place is beautiful!

We stayed at the amazing Shoal Bay Resort, which has a fabulous day spa.

While we were there, we did the lookout walk - about a 45 minute walk to the top of the lookout. It is vertical at some stage, but with ladders/stairs to climb. The view from the top is incredible - check out the photos below!

I highly recommend you visit the Port Stephens area at least once! It is amazing!

What I wore...

On the weekend I went on a girls trip to Shoal Bay at Port Stephens. It's about two hours north of Sydney. More photos to come of our little trip!

Above is one of the outfits I wore on the weekend - Country Road pants, Bonds singlet, white Converse and a Witchery striped top. Lovely comfortable clothing for the road trip!

My Lounge

Hi readers!

Below are photos of my lounge room. As readers of my former blog would know, last year I moved in to my completed terrace home. The place was built during 2011.

I purchased the Besta Tv unit for storage and to display my television and other bits and pieces. I wanted to make sure that the tv was not the focus of the room! The drawers below store all of my Dvds and CDs.

The lounge is from Plush and coffee table from Freedom.

By far my favourite thing in the space is my acapulco chair. It is so comfortable as well as being funky!

What do you think? I'm pretty happy with the space. I think it reflects my personality as well as having a bit of wow factor! I love coming home and relaxing in the space.

Well, the races were cancelled on the weekend - so I didn't get to wear my brand new Cue dress. But, we are hopefully re-scheduling for a couple of weekends time.

Cue Fashion...

Happy Friday!

The weather is terrible in my part of the world today. Storms, raining, cold and windy. Terrible!

Tomorrow, I'm heading to the races. In Australia, the spring racing carnival is the place to be. I managed to track down this dress by Cue.

It is even more beautiful in the flesh. I have a hat too - hopefully this weather clears up!

'The Townie'

Here is a quick tour of my former home - 'the townie'.

This was my first entry in the property market. My first place to renovate and decorate. The first place to call my own!

I lived here for 4 years and during this time, I replaced the horrible wood floors and repainted. Originally my friends and I called this place the 'Smartie' or 'M&M' house - each room was a different colour!

A bit about me - My name is Kobie and I'm a thirty-something educator, who needs a creative outlet. I live near Sydney Australia.

I previously had a blog called Chic Girl Designs and also ran an online etsy store.

Now, I'm concentrating on making my terrace house a home. As well as designing bits and pieces. And probably traveling too. Phew!

I should explain about the name...Olivia and Ivy are the names of my Great Grandmothers on my mother's side. Pretty cool huh?
